Mini Pre-E3 Daily Gaming Tidbits

Sorry it’s a small update today. Ran into some last minute PC problems getting ready for the big show next week so I lost a bunch of content. I will be spending tomorrow getting all the kinks worked out & I leave Sunday morning! So, I’ll try to get a few things up tomorrow while I’m testing everything, otherwise, everything else I will be posting will be from Los Angeles!

  • Tecmo has announced that their classic hit football game Tecmo Bowl is coming to XBLA in early 2010.
  • The PC MMO The Matrix Online is shutting down on July 31.
  • 1 vs 100 will be opening it’s beta to US users beginning on June 1st at 7:30PST. Unfortunately, I will have to wait to try it as I will be at E3 when it goes live…
  • Wolfenstein 3D will be coming to XBLA & PSN next week.
  • Ubisoft will be bringing some classic game shows to the Wii, DS, & PC later this year. Which ones? Well, how about Press Your Luck 2010, Family Feud 2010, & The Price is Right 2010.
  • Electronic Gaming Monthly, a gaming publication that went under a few months back (the Jan 2009 issue was their last), is being resurrected. It’s unclear right now if it will be print, online, or both. Expect to hear more come next week during E3.
  • Dragon Age: Origins will be released Oct. 20th.
  • As announced last night, Madden NFL 10 will feature online co-op! Finally!
  • Bethesda teased Brink last night. Look for it to be released next spring…
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum has a release date now. Remember, it was supposed to come out in June but was delayed. Now, it hits retail Aug. 25.
  • Look for the PSP version of Ghostbusters to hit the US before Christmas.
  • Lego Indiana Jones 2 has been announced for pretty much all platforms. It’s due out this fall. It’s said to cover content from all the movies including the 4th film that was released last year.
