Releasing This Week On XBLA

This week has 2 games released on XBLA. The first of which is Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers. It’s an RTS/card battle game based on the trading card game that was popular during the 1990’s. Magic: The Gathering made the jump to PC gaming earlier this decade. Duals of the Planeswalkers is an expansion for the PC series. The game will retain the single player, player vs player and multi-player modes from the original. It releases Wednesday, June 17th for 800MP.

The next title released this week is Sam & Max Save the World. This is Season One of the episodic Sam & Max series. With Save the World, TellTale Games proves that the graphic adventure game isn’t dead as it was critically lauded for it’s smart humor. Each episode follows Sam & Max as they solve one of their cases, all the while following an overarching storyline culminating in the final episode. Catch this one on Wednesday, June 17th for 1600MP.
