Fallout 3 DLC For PS3 Delayed

Fallout 3 DLC For PS3 Delayed

I kind of saw this coming, even though I held on to my optimism ever since they announced the DLC for Fallout 3 was coming to the PS3. As discussed on the Playstation.Blog, the DLC packs will be delayed. They’re shooting for a September release for the first pack. Here is where the good news come in: they will be launching Broken Steel first. To me, this makes the most sense. The Broken Steel expansion raises the level cap & opens the ending up so the player can go back & complete any side quests they didn’t do their first time through. Following that, it looks like Operation Anchorage & The Pitt will be launched next, possibaly at the same time. Personally, I didn’t care for Operation Anchorage. The only “good” thing to come out of it was a set of killer armor you can get at the end if you play it right. After that will be Point Lookout & Mothership Zeta. They can’t comment on the frequency of the releases yet, as they need to get Broken Steel out first. The reasons for the delay is pretty much the testing. They not only have to test each pack, but they have to test them with each other pack & the original game. That’s a lot of combinations. No worries though, the content is worth the wait. Aside from my personal dislike of Operation Anchorage, the rest are fantastic!
