Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta Lands In August

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a big Fallout fan. I’m absolutely fascinated by Bethesda Softworks interpretation of what the post apocalyptic world would look & feel like. Fortunately for fans like me, BethSoft has done an outstanding job supporting the title post launch with being Mothership Zeta being the 5th DLC pack (& final?) to be released. Developers, please take note & use this model as an example!Anyway, some new info has been released today for the pack. First up, it launches in a couple of weeks on August 3rd for the Xbox 360 & PC. The PS3 version is still a few months out. Just like the previous four packs, it’ll cost you 800MP. The basic premise is to tie in with the various alien hints we have seen throughout the Capitol Wasteland. You find a crashed alien ship emitting a distress call. Once you arrive, you are beamed aboard the Mothership Zeta. Now, it’s a fight for survival as you battle your way off the ship. There will be new weapons to pick up like the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon. But, the new items won’t be just for offense as there will be new outfits too, like the Gemini-Era Spacesuit and even Samurai Armor. With new characters & a new environment, Mothership Zeta is shaping up to be the best expansion yet…
