‘Black Widow’ Will Not Be Blunt

This one came out earlier this week as a rumor. I’ve been waiting until I have seen a solid confirmation on it before I posted it. Awhile back Emily Blunt was pretty much confirmed for the role of ‘Black Widow‘ in Iron Man 2. Emily herself has now confirmed that she has had to pull out of the production due to scheduling issues. Unfortunately she was already contractually obligated for a role in the Jack Black comedy Gulliver’s Travels at the time she was offered the role in the Iron Man sequel. Nothing was able to be worked out as far as her filming schedule goes so she had to pull out. No word yet on who will replace her but the rumors are pointing to Scarlett Johansson as a possibility.
