PopCap Announces Bookworm Adventures 2

Bookworm Adventures was the followup to the now classic hit casual word game, Bookworm. It basically took the original Bookworm formula & threw a dash of RPG in the mix. Your adventure with Lex the worm has you guiding him through various levels, battling enemies along the way. Your ‘weapon’ is your words, doing damage to your enemies by forming words in the classic Bookworm letter grid. The longer the word, the more damage you do.  You’ll also have various power-ups & other types of attacks to contend with. It was released for the PC back in 2006. Now, in a few weeks, the sequel will be released. Once again, you’ll guide Lex through a variety of books, meeting & battling many different literary characters along the way.

List price will be $19.95 & it’ll have both a trial & a full version for both PC & Mac, available through PopCap’s web site…UPDATE: PopCap just sent in the correction saying that the Mac version will not be available. PC only…
