Band Hero Trailer
Band Hero is the more family friendly version of Guitar Hero. It’s basically Activision’s answer to Lego Rock Band. Joystiq picked up the latest trailer last night, but unfortunately, no gameplay was show. What you do get is a a general feel for the intended direction of the game. Whereas Guitar Hero aims to the more rock side of things, Band Hero will be more pop/rock. In addition, they have the Party Play mode, which facilitates players dropping in & out at will. A classic karaoke mode is also include for those who just want to sing. Even though the World Tour tracks will be compatible, the disk will ship with 65 tracks including tunes from The Killers, Snow Patrol, Maroon 5, & Fall Out Boy. Here are the 5 announced tracks so far:
- The All-American Rejects – “Dirty Little Secret”
- Jackson 5 – “ABC”
- Lily Allen – “Take What You Take”
- No Doubt – “Just A Girl”
- Taylor Swift – “Picture to Burn”
