With the launch of Halo Wars it got me to thinking what other great Real-time Strategy /strategy games are available for the Xbox 360? The primarily PC based genre is taking great strides on Xbox 360. Innovations with new controller layouts, voice controls and simplified unit management is bringing the loved strategy to consoles worldwide. Here is the LIVE list’s choices for best strategy game:

1. Halo Wars (Out Today 3/3)
I thought it would be an impossible task to take the expanse of the Halo universe and make a console RTS. Great job Ensemble! You nailed it!

2. Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution
Civilization is the cornerstone strategy game of gamers everywhere. I remember playing it as a kid and spending days beating it in so many ways. Simplified micromanagement makes this a great title.

3. Tom Clancy’s End War
End War made the list because it’s fun, but also because of the innovation integrated through voice commands. Finally units that listen! I can only imagine how this technology will grow.
