Infinity Ward Announces New 360 Bundle (Details & Screens)

At tonight’s big Modern Warfare 2 MP reveal event in Los Angeles, Infinity Ward made big news with the announcement of a new Modern Warfare 2 themed Xbox 360 bundle. Which is it? Arcade? Pro? Elite? None of the above! The reason it doesn’t fall into any of those categories is because it is the first console officially announced to come with a 250GB HD. Yep, he new HD size if officially 250GB. I say “officially” because rumors have been flowing across the Internet lately that the $400 price point wouldn’t be vacant for too long as Microsoft planned to release a new sku with a 250GB HD before the end of the year. Anyway, the Limited Edition IW MW2 bundle will come with a black Xbox 360 that will feature both Infinity Ward & Modern Warfare 2 designs on it, a 250GB HD, 2 black wireless controllers, a headset, & a copy of the game (of course!). It will be available on November 10th, right along side the game & should be available for pre-order right now as you’re reading this.

A few multiplayer details that were tweeted by Geoff Keighley while he was there:

Iw talking about killstreak rewards for MW2. 4 kills gets you the care package, allows helicopter to drop ammo and health for you.

5 kills – predator missile, 7 kills – attack helicopter and more.

Tactical insertion equipment let’s you throw down a mark where you will respawn. Cool idea!

Perks including Scavenger (resupply from dead enemy), Hardline (killstreak for 1 less kill). And Death Streak – Copycat, steal class.

Lastly, here are a few new screens to drool over:
