The ‘Lineage’ Of Assassin’s Creed

With the Assassin’s Creed II launch upon us (tomorrow to be exact), it’s only fitting to get a little history of the main character, Ezio. Ubisoft has release their short film called Lineage which follows Ezio’s father, Giovanni Auditore (who is also an assassin). The 30 minute short film not only introduces us to Giovanni & a young Ezio (& his brother), but also sets the stage for the game. Normally I’m not a fan of this type of stuff as it usually pans out to be a glorified marketing stunt with terrible results. But in this case, Ubisoft did a great job & had me wanting a feature length version before I was half way through it.
