• Yakuza 3 is finally confirmed to be coming stateside. Gamers have been clamoring for this announcement since it launched in Japan last February. Look for it to be a Playstation 3 exclusive & should hit North America in March. Check out the announcement trailer below…

• The Guitar Hero: Van Halen demo is now available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Look for the full title to hit retail on Dec 22nd…

• Gamespot ran a piece on Sony’s motion controller patents. I won’t go into too much detail, but it is sounding like they are leaving themselves open to the “Nintendo Syndrome”. You know, where we spend a reasonable price for the basic peripheral & then end up spending a bajillion more on the various add-ons for it…

• A new Playstation 3 firmware update is heading our way. It’ll add PSP Mini support for the Playstation 3 (i.e. they’ll be playable on the console) & it’ll provide data transfer support (so you can transfer everything from your old console to your new one)…

• Red Dead Revolver has an interesting pre-order bonus. Basically, it’s an in-game outfit. But, once you pre-order, you can vote for one of three different ones. Then, once you’ve completed the applicable in-game challenge, you’ll unlock the winning outfit. When worn, it’ll directly affect how people in the game respond to you…

• The official Bioshock 2 site is now live…
