Mass Effect 2 Launch Trailer And TV Debut

One look at the below trailer & you’ll understand why the hype surrounding Mass Effect 2 is as big as the hype surrounding Modern Warfare 2 was leading up to it’s launch. Pardon the language, but this game is fucking HOT! As a gamer who’s held a love affair with role-playing games since the first Final Fantasy debuted on the NES, this is my most anticipated RPG of the year. And yes, that includes Final Fantasy XIII (a spectacular franchise in it’s own right, but has been wearing thin on me in recent years). With the launch only a few days away, the sci-fi sequel is one of the most talked about games, getting mentioned in just about every conversation I have & on the majority of the podcasts I listen to, not to mention seeing it plastered all over Twitter. Color me surprised if it doesn’t sell over 2.5 million copies in the first week (and that’s a conservative guess).

Oh, & if you want to see the launch trailer on your hi-def gigantic flatscreen TV, look for Fox to air it during the 4th Q of the NFC Championship Game (Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints) this Sunday…
