Lego Star Wars Gets ‘Cloned’

Lego Star Wars Gets ‘Cloned’

The popular (& obscenely cute) Lego game franchise will be adding a 3rd title in it’s Star Wars series. Dubbed The Clone Wars, this new game will draw from the Cartoon Network series of the same name, boasting a better level editor, squad command & long distance Jedi attacks. You should see all the characters from the animated series making an appearance in the game along with “some fan-favourite characters from the beloved theatrical Star Wars Saga”. While I enjoy the franchise, it’s certainly a better experience for the younger crowd. I wonder why TT Games opted to go back to Star Wars when they have so many other franchises that are ripe for the picking. They’ve already tackled Batman, Indy & the upcoming Harry Potter.  Ommiting the Marvel properties (which would rock if they could grab the license), they could do things like Lego Never Ending Story, Lego Scooby Doo, Lego Superman, Lego Cloak & Dagger, & Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But my favorite would be Lego Slumdog Millionaire…  ;)

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will launch this fall on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii & Windows…
