Left 4 Dead Tidbits

Due to a fortunate trip to Rapture (the review will be coming soon), I missed a lot of news that broke last week. So, over the next couple of posts, I’ll try to bring everyone up to speed. First on the hit list is the Left 4 Dead franchise. We all know about The Passing, a new campaign heading to Left 4 Dead 2 next month. It plans to introduce the original four survivors from the first game (Zoey, Bill, Francis, & Louis) to the four from the sequel (Nick, Ellis, Rochelle, & Coach), set between Dead Center & Dark Carnival. But, there’s still holes in the story so Valve has another DLC campaign coming, only this one is for the first game. It will tell the tale of how the original fab four made their way to The Passing. While no release date was announced, the new Left 4 Dead DLC isn’t expected until after The Passing launches. Just keep in mind that The Passing is for Left 4 Dead 2, but the other campaign will be for Left 4 Dead 1. In other news, Valve is planning a comic book that will tie the two DLC campaigns together. Now, since they’re planning new content for the first game, do you think they may go back & actually fix the Crash Course achievements?
