Rapture City Counsel Approves Expansion

2K Games announced new expansion plans for BioShock 2 today. As will all high profile releases these days, Rapture’s return to our consoles will have “extensive downloadable content” according to the latest press release from 2K. The first (of several) will be the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack. It will add 5 new masks, a 3rd upgrade for each weapon, 20 new trials, two new playable characters (Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca) & the level cap will be raised to 50. The Sinclair Solutions Test Pack is expected to hit both platforms next month for 400 MP or $5. Addition plans for the coming months include future expansions that will add to the single player story as well as the MP including more narrative, new tools and new challenges. On a side note, for those that noticed I have yet to post my BioShock 2 review, don’t worry, it’s still coming. I have it pretty much done, but am awaiting the arrival of my capture card so I can start taking my own screen caps. It should be here in the next day or two, so if all goes well, I should have the review up by the end of the week…
