Daily Gaming Tidbits 04/28/09
- The Elder Scrolls universe is rich with back story & lore, as anyone who has played the games can attest to. Now Bethesda, in conjunction with Del Ray books, is bring that lore to you. Author Greg Keyes will write at least 2 novels based on the franchise. The first of which is The Infernal City, which will take place after the events of Oblivion, during a time when a mysterious floating city is causing Tamriel’s residents to rise again as undead.

- The official Batman: Arkham Asylum site is now open.
- The PC version of Street Fighter IV will feature Games For Windows LIVE. That means online Multiplayer & achievement points.
- The beta’s for both MAG & The Agency on the PS3 should be starting sometime around E3.
- Mike Tyson & Muhammad Ali will grace the cover of Fight Night 4
- Space Invaders Extreme should be coming out on the XBLA on May 6
- Playlogic announced this morning that they are developing a game called Fairytale Fights. Here’s an excerpt from the press release:
Fairytale Fights is a truly twisted hack’n’slash platform adventure where players assume the role of a much-loved fairytale character, whose glory days have long since passed. While embarking on a seemingly innocent journey to save a colorful fantasy world from certain disaster, players traverse a series of colourful and enthralling levels filled to the brim with action-packed combat and fairytale-style storylines. Luckily, many different weapons lay strewn throughout the fairytale kingdom, which players can use to slice and dice their way through swathes of cute fluffy bunnies and imposing enemies.
- The Bionic Commando multiplayer demo comes out tomorrow on XBL. As far as I know, there are no plans for a demo for the PS3 crowd. Look for the full game to hit retail on May 22nd. In addition, here’s a multiplayer trailer so you can get a little preview…
