- My preview of Lost Planet 2 has been published on Bright Hub. Check it out here.
- Joystiq.com reports that the Splatterhouse remake is back on track, with developer BottleRocket helming the title again.
- Expect some changes to come to Quake Live soon. The soonest ones to come into effect will be through a mid-May update. It should have new maps, tutorial modes and better mid-match team balancing. For further info on what id has planned, check out their forum post here.
- Rumors abound are pointing toward a Vietnam setting for the next Call of Duty (meaning the one that is not modern).
- Do you love Crash Bandicoot? If so, you may be interested in the XBLM Deal of the Week. If your a Gold member, you can pick up Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex from the Xbox Originals line for only $10 (800MP). Regular price is $15 (1200 MP). Go here to add it to your queue.
- Sony is adding StageSet to Home this week. Basically, it’s Machinima Utility that will allow you to make movies in the service with your Avatar.
- We get three slices of XBLA goodness this week. Look for Arkanoid Live!, Space Invaders Extreme & Zombie Wranglers to be released on Wednesday for 800MP each.
- Cyan Worlds have ported Myst to the iPhone/iTouch. It’s big though. For $6 you will get a 700MB download. They say it’s a better version of the title as it will have auto-save, bookmarking & quick access to the hint guide.
- Red Steel fans: Ubisoft says no multiplay for Red Steel 2.
- Time magazine has named Rockstar Games co-founders Sam and Dan Houser in its list of the 100 most influential people in the world over the past year.
- Eidos has a secret project they plan to announce on May 11th. All indications point at Thief 4.
- Rumor has it that EA has a new Medal of Honor title in the works. Hopefully I will have more on that at E3.
- EA has moved Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis up a week (June 8th) to coincide with the launch of Nintendo’s Wii Motion Plus.
- GDC: The Game. Yes it’s real. It’s a text-based browser adventure. Check out some more info here.
