The second DLC pack for 2k Games RPS Borderlands has been announced. Titled Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, it’s said to expand on the Riot mode, providing 3 new arenas, a banking feature (which amounts to more storage) & 2 more skill points. Tekken 6 will be getting an update on the Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 tomorrow. It should optimize the online portion of the game like input response time & such… The new, bigger screened DSi is out in Japan (called the DSi LL) & has sold more than 100,000 units already. Assassin’s Creed II has done very well, selling 1.6 million copies in it’s first week on the shelves which is about 30% better than the first week sales of the first game… Spike TV is teasing the new Tron game. So, the rumors that started floating around the other day are true: Nintendo plans to release a new DSi with a bigger screen. Dubbed the DSi XL here in the States, it will carry a screen that’s 93% bigger than the current DSi. In Japan, it will retail for a bit more than the regular model, so I’m going to assume the cost increase will carry over in both North America & in Europe. Before all the haters start flaming their favorite forums, I just want to remind everyone that this is pretty much par for the course for Nintendo.
