Your Sims Are Feeling A Bit Ambitious

Your Sims Are Feeling A Bit Ambitious
Just 3 1/2 months after EA sent your Sims on their World Adventures, they now want to help cultivate your Sims ambitions. Or, maybe you want to be an architect & make an impact on how the town looks. Each new job allows for the player to have more direct control...

Review: Tritton AX 180 & AX 720

Review: Tritton AX 180 & AX 720
Audio is probably one of the most under-rated parts of today’s media. Sure, there are many audiophiles out there, but rarely does the average person pay it much attention. I never realized this until I did a project in my high school art class. We were tasked with taking several different forms of visual media (i.e. TV, movies, games, etc…) & enjoy them for an hour each. Then, repeat the process, only this time with out the sounds enabled. This difference is night & day. The feelings that any form of visual media evokes on it’s viewers are enhanced & a lot of the times...

The Sims 3: World Adventures Picks Up World Stars

The Sims 3: World Adventures Picks Up World Stars
EA announced today that they have added some musicians from around the world to bring fresh content to their upcoming Sims 3 expansion, World Adventures. Zuma’s Revenge will take the now-classic gameplay from the first title & enhance it with some high res visuals, new power-ups, 60 new maps & boss battles. Yep, I said boss battles. Below are a couple of screenshots & the...

PopCap Announces Bookworm Adventures 2

PopCap Announces Bookworm Adventures 2
Bookworm Adventures was the followup to the now classic hit casual word game, Bookworm. It basically took the original Bookworm formula & threw a dash of RPG in the mix. Your adventure with Lex the worm has you guiding him through various levels, battling enemies along the way. Your ‘weapon’ is your words, doing damage to your enemies by forming words in the classic Bookworm letter grid. The longer the word, the more damage you do.  You’ll also have various power-ups & other types of attacks to contend with. It was released for the PC back in 2006. Now, in a few weeks,...
