With Dante going to Hell tomorrow, there’s a lot of launch festivities planned for what was probably the most uniquely marketed game ever. For those out of the loop, Dante’s Inferno is an Action/Adventure game from EA’s Visceral Games based on part one of Dante Alighieri’s fourteenth-century poem, the Divine Comedy. It follows Dante’s quest to free his beloved from the Underworld. The popular (& obscenely cute) Lego game franchise will be adding a 3rd title in it’s Star Wars series. Dubbed The Clone Wars, this new game will draw from the Cartoon Network series of the same name, boasting a better level editor, squad command & long distance Jedi attacks. You should see all the characters from the animated series making an appearance in the game along with “some fan-favourite characters from the beloved theatrical Star Wars Saga”. Apparently gamers who haven’t been able to upgrade to an HD display are have been having trouble reading the many lines of text in the recently launched Mass Effect 2. Microsoft’s Deal of the Week is actually a 3-fer: Marvel vs Capcom 2 (800 MP), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Reshelled (400 MP) & Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao (800 MP). Honestly, these are the prices they should have been right from the beginning. Especially the TMNT title, which was a very short, yet polished up arcade port & Invincible Tiger, which is one of those games that I personally didn’t get in to.
