Left 4 Dead received it’s first bit of DLC this last Tuesday to much fanfare. Adding some additional maps for Verses mode, along with an all new Survival mode, the pack’s best feature was that it was free. Unfornately, it wasn’t bug free. It didn’t take long for players to find an exploit that allowed them to rack up a 10 hour survival time in Survival mode. To add perspective, I have only lasted a little under 3 minutes. Lode Runner will be released on XBLA tomorrow for 1200MP. Double Fine’s Jack Black led game Brutal Legend has a release date now. Mark ‘Rocktober’ 13th on your calendars. The last piece of DLC for The Maw, a deleted scene called Speeder Lane, will be released on Wednesday, April 29th for 100MP on the XBLM or $1.25 on Steam, Greenhouse, and Direct2Drive. Pricing has been announced for ‘Watchmen: The End Is Nigh. It’ll be an episodic downloadable game available on XBLA, PSN & Steam. Warner Bros. Interactive said today that it will run 1600MP ($20). That’s a painful price for an episodic game. I think there will be a lot of people who will be doing the same thing I will be doing: waiting for a price drop. Look for this next week on March 4th.
